A Haircut for his Birthday

Last Sunday, on Brendan's actual birthday, we cut his hair (or at least his bangs). The whole family went to the park because it was a beautiful day. Brendan wasn't sure about the swings but enjoyed his stroller ride and watching all the kids.

We celebrated Brendan's Birthday on Saturday with a few friends. He enjoyed opening presents,

eating cake, and taking a nap. A pretty good birthday in my book! He got 2 huge coloring books, a piano, Farm fridge magnets, and a huge box of blocks. We like the cake with strawberry cream filling and also enjoyed some of Dad's great pulled pork.

Brendan enjoyed his first ice cream in honor of his birthday while we were in Florida. A special treat from his Opa and Grandma (it was a nice treat for all of us :)

We all had a great trip to Florida. We were right on the beach and had a great view of the sunset from the balcony. Brendan enjoyed swiming in the pool with his Opa and playing ball with his Grandma. Rich and I enjoyed a little time to ourselves :)
